Sunny Ade & his African Beats -
the Original Syncro System Movement,
African Songs Ltd.

We had a 'Syncro System' lp on the Brittish 'Island' label from '83
and we had an album on 'Sunny Alade Records' from 1983 with
the title 'Syncro Series'. This is the original movement from a couple
of years before them. The bassplayer on a-side really stands out and
catches a lot of attention. Quite different tracks than on the other two
albums, different titles as well. Not being the first to post this one,
it was simply impossible to resist, so if you missed it earlier..

tracks;

1   Syncro system movements
2   Ni'bi lekeleke gbe nfo'so
-   Gbogbo wa l'ope
-   Ori olowo
-   Asiko ni.

WOW. I've heard Synchro System. But the ORIGINAL Synchro System? I don't think so. THANKS

There seems to be a period of time where, in juju music, the bass takes the part of one of the talking drums. This record does that, and Ebenezer Obey's face to face seems to do the same thing.

This is the most wonderful record. Maybe my favorite Juju album. My copy is all scratchy and poppy but I still love it. Thank you Moos for the excellent rip of this master piece. Cheers from Los Angeles.

Thanks, Moos, for everything and for this album. I have this great record, but it has a terrible high pitched tone throughout that makes it unlistenable for me. I am downloading yours hoping you have a better copy.

Moos, you truly are a star!

I wonder, is there any indication of a date on this? Maybe something scratched into the vinyl? The discography at http://biochem.chem.nagoya-u.ac.jp/~endo/EAAde.html doesn't have one, so I wondered if you might know more!

That aside, this is a brilliant and many many thanks. Again!
