Flor Morales Ramos or in short Ramito is one of the
interpreters of traditional style Jibaro. El Cantor de la Montaña
is back at the GG with a sweet album. Aguinaldo, Seis,
Plena, Mariandá, Mapayé are typical Puerto Rican music styles,
that the great Ramito brought us like no other, check it yourself.
P.S., B-side gets a bit false towards the end due to lurching grooves.

6 Soy un desventurado

10 San Juan bautista

Thanks I love (as you know) jibaro music ! Do you think it's a proof that I'm getting old to enjoy this old-fashioned music ?
absolutely Arnaud, but don't fear, we all have that same experience at a certain point..
Freshly re-uploaded today are;
Pacho Galan - Caracoleando
Francisco Ulloa - Merengue and
El Binomio de Oro - Por lo Alto
enjoy !
Is that a c**k on his shoulder or is he just pleased to see you? ;-)
gracias!!!
thanks for this - my dad always played jibaro music around the holidays and now I enjoy it holidays or not - but it brings back memories of my dad's cooking for sure! always love your variety and taste.
Thanks Moos, this is a change for me from the high octane Congo and Salsa tunes.
It brings us back to the country-side to help us keep things in perspective.
