Thank you very much! This was one of the groups (along with Kanda Bongo Man playing with Diblo) that started my obsession with soukous and from there, all types of African music and from there, music in the rest of the world. After almost 17 years of listening to them, I still find Quatre Étoiles irresistible, and I am unable to stay still when I hear their music. Thank you for this treat.

Thanks a lot for all of your posts. I enjoy them all, one by one, especially the African posts. And for this one of the 4 Stars Album I am happy to be able to contribute 1984 as the recording year. This is what I found in Ronnie Graham's "Da Capo Guide To Contemporary African Music" from 1988.
